Our network includes members from more than 10 countries, including academic research and teaching staff at all career stages, performing artists, event organisers, and other industry professionals. Our members utilise a wide range of research methods based on their diverse disciplinary backgrounds and work with local, national and international festival partners to make social impact through their research.

The International Festival Research Network committee was formed at its first symposium, held at the University of Sheffield in June 2024. The committee oversees the current activities of the network and works to build its future directions.
